The Art of Embossing Thoughts
Sometimes you are pushed into a journey that you have no idea about, no presumption but you have to execute it. Being a person of Science, I was afraid of hosting the Art Exhibition at first glance, but with the support of my students and the belief of my colleagues in me, it came out as an Impactful event.
It was such a pleasure to be able to host and organize an art exhibition for Prof. Shyam Sundar Sharma at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Patna on 9th September 2022 from 2 PM to 4 PM in the central hall of the campus. He is a renowned man with long years of experience in printmaking technology awarded the Padmashree Award. We prepared the hall for the display of his artwork.
Students of the department of Fashion Communication worked together to put up boards and decorated the hall with all his available artworks. Shyam Ji shared some valuable details of his personal life, as well as his work life and students, and took an utmost interest in the interaction. Some asked him questions and then we all took a stroll through the hall to look at the works and listened to his explanations of the artworks.

As a faculty of Deepening Specialization i.e., Fashion Journalism; I proposed to my students to conduct an interview session with Shyam Ji on his artwork later as a part of their curriculum. One of the students in the group named Trisha Das from semester five has written a blog on the art exhibition that she attended that day.
